is ideal for families to fly a kite or play ball. Only 100
metres away there is a choice of three beaches:
- Caves
Beach - patrolled swimming area and caves and extensive
rock pools to explore.
- Hams
Beach - popular for beach fishing and swimming away from
the crowds.
- Frenchmans
Beach - popular surf board riding beach.
The
local shops and Caves Hotel Bar/Restaurant are just down the
end of the road. It is a 3 minutes drive to Swansea Shopping
Centre, 5 minutes drive to Lake Macquarie and 30 minutes drive
to Newcastle.
